MyEOL's Biodiversity Synthesis Group

MyEOL's Biodiversity Synthesis Group is a component of the
Malaysian Encyclopedia of Life, an bioinformatics project with the
goal of developing a webpage with associated scientific information
for every known species on Malaysia, freely accessible to everyone.

The group is dedicated to advancing biodiversity science through
scientific research programs and synthesis meetings on a wide range
of MyEOL topics.

To involve scientists in MyEOL content development, extend the
EOL’s impact on science, and to begin using the MyEOL to answer
vital scientific questions, we host postdoctoral researchers and
students in biodiversity-related disciplines and we organize, host and
fund scientific meetings on topics such as taxonomy, phylogenetics,
biogeography, conservation biology and other data-rich areas of
bioinformatics.

The Biodiversity Synthesis Group is currently headed by Dr Ghazally
Ismail.
